Create Your Precious Moments

I have been doing a lot of looking back and incidentally, I read a blog newsletter from talking about the ‘good old days’. There have been a lot of those precious moments that now I could not help but wonder – did I really feel the same way during those times?

Could it be that I was so busy that I did not give attention to those moments and simply took them for granted? I could have made them better. I could have prolonged them. I could have helped to create more of those moments.

Valid points, I should say; but enough of the ‘couldas’.

Now is the time to create beautiful moments specifically when nurturing our self-confidence. What better way to make this than feel good about ourselves, the fun we are having with family and friends, and the passion we are into?

Now is the time.

Start enjoying the present moments and make a pinch of confidence in everything you do.

Feel Good

Look at yourself in the mirror and freshen up. Make yourself look good and feel good as if you’re going on your first date. Make that awesome self-affirmation “I love the day!”

Make Others Feel Good

One way is by talking and making your presence felt. Don’t babble sweet-nothings. Make those small talk and get to know a bit of someone. Don’t be a bore.

Another way is by making a thoughtful act – offering help, giving away some goodies, spending some time for fun, talk, or for something you have not been doing with others.

Now is the time.

No matter how busy, pressured or stressed you are. Find a moment. Yes, the time is now!

So true Rob. Good reminders for your readers. The line from Yes’ song “I’ve Seen All Good People” rings in my ears, “Don’t surround yourself with yourself.” I’ll think about this today. Thanks. With loving care.

Making others feel good is really so easy, but most people neglect to do it. Just the simple act of making eye contact and genuinely listening to someone can provide a connection that they rarely experience in day-to-day life.

For me, life has always been about trying to help out others, sometimes even to the detriment of myself. In order to have these precious moments, you need to strike a balance between others and yourself. You shouldn’t neglect others, but you shouldn’t neglect yourself either. 🙂
